RESURRECTION
It was that day of abandoned bliss,
when I trot my way up the thumb kissed hills
As darkness fell no one knew,
But the stir in my eyes became true.
My life had changed with a hangman at my door
The world was ending but only at my shore
I overlooked my fortune, my search for desire
A jaded onlooker, to this prudent misfire
I stood upon this open night scape
My time had come, virtues own pace.
There was so much to tell, so much to do.
but now in paradise I had my feet too.
Then I dip of nectar, a sacramental smear
Open arms, a wide gate at the frontier
The crux had meandered into the open
While all the world was, right where it was groppin
It was always there, just a crowning on the shelf
It had looked all over, except on itself
I fell on my feet, couldn’t thank my fortune
Then abundant hate, now yesterday’s bourbon
Its all within, why go for Glory
My unfavoured myself is now His-story!!
